Current Client Quilts

Thought you would like to see some of the wonderful quilt tops that I get to work on. The design and fabric choices, workmanship and stories behind making the tops absolutely inspire me. Sometimes, my quilting is prominent and adds to the overall design ; sometimes it stays in the background allowing the top design to shine on its own. The longarm quilting that I do is totally hand driven. I do not have a computerized system. Thank you for trusting me with your hard work and wonderful gifts-to-be.

This is a small lap quilt. I belong to a sewing ministry with so many talented people. One of the group members moved to Florida last year and gave us unfinished projects. She did the center curved pieced panel which is just so amazing. I added borders and did a number of free-motion designs in the many center pieces and easy free motion/rulers in the borders. I finished this in a hurry but it turned out pretty good. This quilt will be donated. I hope the person who receives this will have fun using it when sitting in their chair:)

Isn’t this quilt happy and spring-like! The quilter is so good in her piecing so it was a delight to quilt. I didn’t get pictures of the quilting design but it is called “Pansies”, a sweet flower with vining leaves. This quilt is to be a gift to a young mother. :)

First completed work for 2024. This wallanging belongs to my Williamsburg friend who does wonderful hand applique. This time, my husband and I delivered it personally. Colonial Williamsburg is one of our favorite places.
